Researchers from ACE Lab, Kim Sangkwon, Kim Sunbin, Baek Seungeon, Shin Hyunki, Sim Gyubin abd Yang Jinsoo presented their Master’s dissertation on December 16th and 17th, in Chung Mong-Koo Automotive Research Center. Researcher Kim Sangkwon presened on ‘Road Shape Classification based Map Matching Algorithm for Localization System Robust to the Matching Errors between HD map and Perception’, researcher Kim Sunbin on ‘Vehicle Speed Prediction for Unplanned Routes Using Classified Prediction Models’, Baek Seungeon ‘Personalized Speed Planning Algorithm Using a Statistical Driver Model in Car-following Situations’, Shin Hyunki ‘In-Cylinder Pressure based 48V MHSG Control for Minimizing Engine Torque Deviation in Cylinder Deactivation Engine’, Sim Gyubin on ‘Automatic Regenerative Braking of EVs Based on the Driver-Characteristics-Oriented Deceleration Model in Car-following Conditions’, and Yang Jinsoo on ‘Decision Making Model for Overtaking Maneuvers in Autonomous Driving Through Driver Behavior Analysis’. The session consisted of seven minutes of presentation and three minutes of questions. The five researchers proved the excellence of the ACE Lab Master students.
