Researchers Kim Chansoo, Shin Jaewook and Jung Donghyuk presented their doctoral dissertation on December 16th, at the Chung Mong-Koo Automotive Research Center. It is the process of presenting the three researchers’ individual work for the past years in ACE Lab and receiving evaluation from the professors. Researcher Kim Chansoo presented on ‘Cloud Update of Geodetic Normal Distribution Map based on Crowdsourcing Detection against Road Environment Changes’, researcher Shin Jaewook on ‘An improvement of a vehicle's fuel efficiency through distributed reinforcement learning and short-distance speed forecasting’, and Jung Donghyuck on ‘A Deep Learning Model using In-cylinder Pressure for LP-EGR Estimation in a T-GDI Engine’. All the sessions consisted of 10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of question time. The three researchers showed the excellence of ACE Lab’s Doctorate students.
